Kluge Estate Winery and Vineyard

 A wine enthusiast with a passion for farming and nature, Kluge Estate Founder and Chairwoman, Patricia Kluge, long desired to start her own winery. She believed that her land in Albemarle County in Charlottesville, Virginia could be a prime location for a vineyard, and after extensive research of the estate’s soil and climate, she found her instincts were justified. Patricia created an extensive plan to open a state-of-the-art winemaking facility that would produce wines of superior quality and in 1999, fulfilled her dream by planting Kluge Estate’s first vines.
